Returning for its fifth year, the convention brings the Greater Springfield Gamers community together at Goodna State School for two full days of games, tournaments, workshops, vendors and social activities.

Whether you’re a seasoned tabletop gamer, discovering the hobby for the first time or simply looking for something different to do around Ipswich, SpringCon offers plenty of opportunities to play, learn and connect with fellow gaming enthusiasts.

Event Overview

SpringCon TableTop Gaming Convention is organised by Greater Springfield Gamers, a community of tabletop gaming enthusiasts based in the Greater Springfield area. The 2026 convention marks the event’s fifth year and is designed to welcome both experienced players and people who are new to tabletop gaming.

The two-day program covers several areas of tabletop gaming, including board games, role-playing games and miniatures wargames. Visitors can take part in learn-to-play sessions and social games, while more experienced players can compete in dedicated tournaments throughout the weekend.

Beyond the games themselves, SpringCon provides opportunities to meet other members of the tabletop community, discover local vendors and creators, participate in hobby activities and browse a second-hand market. This makes the convention appealing not only to dedicated gamers but also to visitors curious about the hobby and families looking for an interactive weekend activity.
