SUMMARY:Art Fight at Stony Creek Brewing Company – Ipswich
DESCRIPTION:Looking for something a little different to do in Ipswich? Art Fight at Stony Creek Brewing Company brings live competitive painting\, audience participation and local creativity together for an entertaining afternoon in the heart of the city. \nWatch four artists go head-to-head as they create artwork in timed rounds\, with the audience helping decide who progresses towards the final. With live painting happening right in front of you\, every round offers something different and keeps the atmosphere lively. \nEvent Overview\nArt Fight is a live competitive painting event where artists have to put their creativity and painting skills to the test against one another. \nFour artists compete in timed rounds while visitors watch their artworks develop from blank canvases into finished pieces. Rather than simply observing from the sidelines\, the audience has an important role to play\, with visitors voting to help determine which artist progresses to the next stage. \nThe event takes place at Stony Creek Brewing Company\, an independent brewery in central Ipswich. The venue provides a relaxed setting where visitors can enjoy the live art action while sampling locally brewed beer and food. \nHighlights & Schedule\nLive competitive painting: Watch four artists work under the pressure of timed rounds as they create their artworks in real time. \nAudience voting: The crowd gets involved in deciding which artists move forward\, giving visitors an active role in the competition. \nDifferent artistic styles: Each competitor brings their own approach and creative style\, making every round a little different. \nArt in action: Instead of viewing completed works in a gallery\, visitors get to see the creative process unfold from start to finish. \nLocal creative talent: Art Fight provides a platform for emerging and established artists from the region while bringing the local community together around creativity. \nBrewery atmosphere: The event is held inside Stony Creek Brewing Company\, allowing visitors to combine live entertainment with the brewery’s independent craft beer and food offerings. \nVisitor Information\nArt Fight at Stony Creek Brewing Company will take place on Sunday 25 October 2026\, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM\, at Stony Creek Brewing Company\, 88 Limestone Street\, Ipswich QLD 4305. Entry is free. \nThe brewery’s entrance is located off South Street\, and free car parking is available at the venue. Stony Creek Brewing is also dog-friendly in its laneway\, although visitors bringing pets should check the venue’s current arrangements before attending. \nThe event is suited to visitors who enjoy art\, live entertainment and Ipswich’s local food and drink scene. As the competition takes place over several hours\, visitors can settle in and enjoy the atmosphere while following the artists as they work through the rounds. \nWith Art Fight forming part of an ongoing series at the brewery\, each event features new competitors\, styles and creative themes\, meaning returning visitors can experience something different each time. \nMake Central Motel Ipswich Your Event Base\nTravelling to Ipswich for Art Fight from Brisbane or another part of Queensland? Central Motel Ipswich provides a convenient accommodation base for visitors who want to turn an afternoon event into a broader Ipswich getaway. \nAfter watching the artists battle it out on the canvas\, you can explore more of the city’s dining\, entertainment and heritage attractions before returning to the motel to relax. \nStaying overnight also gives visitors more time to discover central Ipswich and enjoy other local events and activities rather than having to rush home after the competition. \nWhether you’re visiting specifically for Art Fight or planning a weekend exploring Ipswich’s creative and cultural scene\, Central Motel Ipswich offers a comfortable base for your visit.
